Formative assessment

The teachers in Paderewski Primary School apply formative assessment which means that:

they present pupils with lessons’ goals which are easily understood,
they set success criteria that is a list of all criteria that are used for the assessment of pupil’s work (so called NaCoBeZu),
they use effective feedback, which helps each pupil value his or her abilities and shows what needs to be improved and how to do it,
they use self-assessment and peer assessment.
