CLASS 3 (grade 11) – IB DP INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM

2025/2026 school year

CANDIDATE APPLICATION

The candidate is being registered by completing the candidate questionnaire online and a cover letter (online form).
After completing the questionnaire, the candidate should submit the following documents send the scans by e-mail to rekrutacja.liceum@paderewski.lublin.pl:

documentation of results from a previous grade – e. g. reports, transcript of grades, description of subjects (curriculum), grading scale;

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION

In the International Paderewski Secondary School the 3nd-grade candidates are admitted based on:

the analysis of documentation from the previous grade
the result of the English entrance examination – minimum result 75%
the result of the Maths entrance examination – minimum result 65%
the result of extended subjects (HL level) entrance examinations – minimum result 75%
the result of the recruitment interview online

RECRUITMENT INTERVIEW ONLINE

The recruitment interview online is obligatory for all candidates.

Evaluation criteria:

out-of-school activities of students – the commitment to helping other people or the environment, especially in the form of volunteering, and/or sports or artistic activity
the ability to present critical, analytical and scientific thinking – solving problem-based tasks

ENTRANCE EXAMS

Written exams and an interview are conducted online. The dates of the examination session is arranged individually with each candidate.

PROFILE

In grade 11, the IB DP International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is implemented, in which:

all subjects (except for the mother tongue) are taught in English,
there are 7 hours of English language lessons per week,
students choose 2 or 3 subjects at the standard SL level (4 hours per week),
students choose 3 or 4 subjects at the Advanced HL level (6 hours per week).

a program of creativity-action-service (CAS – Creativity, Action, Service), which serves development and self-improvement, as well as develops a pro-social attitude, promoting activities for the benefit of the needy, school or local community,
thesis (EE – Extended Essay) which is an independent research dissertation on the subject of your choice.

MEDICAL PROFILE - detailed description

Choosing a medical profile will allow you to study medical fields in the future at both Polish and foreign universities. The best choice for future students of such fields as: medicine, physiotherapy, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, cosmetology, neuropsychology or biotechnology.

examination fee – PLN 700 payable up to 5 days before the recruitment session.
